Does MCP use Firmable credits?
See which Firmable MCP actions are free, which use credits, and how they draw on your Firmable credits.
When you use Firmable through Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot, you draw from the same credit balance as the Firmable app. Searching and organising are free. Credits are used when you get contact details or send records to your CRM.
Prerequisites
Before using the MCP connector, ensure the following:
- You’re on a Small Teams, Teams Pro or Enterprise plan
- Your AI tool is connected to Firmable
One credit pool, everywhere
- Credits are shared across the Firmable app, the browser extension, and the MCP connector.
- Each company or contact record costs one credit, charged once. That credit covers all available details, including email and mobile number.
- Revealing both email and mobile for one person costs one credit in total.
- Anything you unlock in one place is unlocked everywhere.
- You aren’t charged again if a person changes jobs or their details change. Your unlocked record updates with the new data.
What’s free
- Searching for companies and people with filters or plain language (ai_search, filter_search)
- Looking up filter options such as industry, location, and seniority (get_filter_options)
- Finding similar companies and people (find_similar_companies, find_similar_people)
- Matching and enriching an uploaded list, until you request contact details
- Creating, renaming, and viewing lists, and adding, removing, copying, or moving profiles between them
- Viewing signal agents, their settings, and their signal hits (list_signal_agents, agent_signal_hits)
- Viewing segments
- Account intelligence summaries
- Requesting missing contact details (once Firmable finds them, revealing them is charged like any other reveal)
What uses credits
- Viewing a full company or people profile: up to one credit per record (get_company, get_person)
- Viewing profiles in bulk: up to one credit per record, up to 200 per request (bulk_get_companies, bulk_get_people)
- Revealing an email: up to one credit per person
- Revealing a mobile number: one credit per person, charged the first time you view it (reveal_person_phone)
- Revealing mobile numbers in bulk: one credit per person, up to 200 per request (bulk_reveal_person_phones)
- Downloading a record for the first time
- Pushing a record to your CRM: up to one credit per record, up to 500 per push (push_to_crm)
- Pushing a whole list to your CRM: up to one credit per record in the list (bulk_push_list_to_crm)
- Enriching an existing CRM record: one credit per record, regardless of how many fields are enriched
When you aren’t charged
- Viewing, revealing, downloading, or pushing a record you’ve already unlocked
- Re-downloading a record after Firmable updates its data
- Re-enriching a CRM record you’ve already enriched
- Enriching a record you previously pushed from Firmable
- Requesting a mobile number or email that Firmable can’t find
Before you run a bulk action
- Claude may spend credits as soon as you ask for contact details, without confirming first. To stay in control, add an instruction to your prompt such as “Find the contacts first and wait for my confirmation before revealing any.”
- Whether Claude asks before spending credits depends on your connector approval settings.
- Review your results before asking for mobile numbers. Revealing 100 mobiles uses up to 100 credits, even if you only needed a few.
- Bulk reveals are all or nothing. If you don’t have enough credits, the whole request is rejected and nothing is charged. If you do, every record in the request is charged.
- Pushing a whole list sends every record in it. To push only some, select those profiles and push them directly. Check the list’s size first.
