Understanding filters for our Construction module (Vertical)

Our construction module gives you access to industry-specific data, filters, and contact details that have never been mapped before for the Australian market – all within Firmable’s B2B database. Perfect if you’re interested in deeper data points and better segmentation for the construction industry.  

Below is a comprehensive overview of filtering options within the construction module. Build your searches effortlessly by adding our advanced filtering options tailored to construction sectors, licences, locations, and other relevant criteria.

Construction filters

• Sector: Select from the dropdown the operating sector you’re searching for: Civil, Commercial, Energy, Oil and Gas, or Residential.
• Org type: Select the type of organisation you are targeting from the dropdown. Ranging from Builders, Construction Management, Suppliers, specific Trades, and more. 
  
• Profile type: There are two types of profiles in the construction module – full and simple profiles. Full profiles are similar to what you see in the main Firmable database, with rich information about the company. Simple profiles are ‘lighter’ profiles typically for companies that don’t have a digital presence. You can use this filter to limit to just full or simple profiles.
• Project specialisation: Enter the project specialisation you are looking for in the search bar or click to expand options to select from the dropdown. 
  
• Services offered: Start typing in the search bar and use specific keywords related to services for a more refined search. E.g. plastering, asset management, etc. 
• Service specialisation: Enter or select the service specialisation of the company you are searching for.  
  
• Pre-qualification agency: Select from our list of government organisations who issue pre-qualifications for construction companies. 
• Pre-qualified works: Select from our list of pre-qualifications offered by organisations, to help determine what the company you're searching for is allowed to do.
  
  
• Pre-qualified project size: Select the size category to filter projects by their projected project size. 
  
• Geographical reach: Choose the geographical reach to search for companies based in a specific area. Options are Local, Regional, National, or International.  
  
  

Company filters 

• Name (Company): Enter the name of the company you're searching for in the search bar. 

• Industry: Select from the dropdown or enter the industry type to filter companies by their operating sectors. 

• Location (Company): Choose or input a geographical location to search for companies based in a specific area. Targeting options include suburb/postcode or state.  

• Keywords: Use specific keywords related to the company for a more refined search. 

• Employee Count (AU): Select the range of employee count to filter companies based on the size of their Australian workforce. 

• Revenue: Input or select the revenue range to filter companies by their financial size. 
• Type: Choose the type of company (such as private, public, or subsidiary) to filter your search accordingly. 
• ABN: Input the ABN of the company you’re searching for in the search bar.

To help you optimise your outreach and ensure you connect with key decision makers we include a primary contact on a company page. This information will be included when you download a company list within the construction module.
