What is the Technographics filter?
The Technographics filter lets you narrow your company search to businesses that use specific technologies. Whether you're prospecting into companies running Shopify, Salesforce, or a particular payroll tool, Technographics helps you surface the right accounts faster.
How to use the Technographics filter
- Navigate to the Search page and select Companies.
- Click Technographics in the filter panel.
- Browse or search for a technology by name using the search bar at the top of the panel or select a category e.g. Sales & Marketing.
- Click the technology you want to filter by.

Technologies are organised into the following categories:
- Sales & Marketing
- Analytics
- Content & Media
- Hosting & Operations
- Finance & Accounting
- Customer Management
- Software Development
- HR & Payroll

How Firmable sources technographics data
Firmable identifies technologies from three sources: website analysis, job advertisement monitoring across Seek, LinkedIn, and Indeed, and job title data from people records.
FAQs
Can I search for a specific technology by name?
Yes. Use the search bar at the top of the Technographics panel to find a technology directly without browsing by category.
Can I filter by multiple technologies at once?
Yes. Selecting multiple technologies applies an OR operator, so you will see companies using any of the selected tools.
How often is technographics data updated?
Job advertisement data is refreshed monthly. Website technology data is updated on an ongoing basis.
