How to create a custom field on Pipedrive

Learn how to create a custom field of data to push to Pipedrive

If your Pipedrive account does not have a suitable field to capture a custom field such as Firmable ID, you can create a custom field using the following instructions.

The following steps are focused on creating a custom field for an Account object. The same steps can be repeated for the Lead and Contact objects also.

Prerequisites 

Before initiating the integration, ensure the following:

  • You are on a Teams or Teams Pro plan with Firmable.  
  • You have the Admin or Integration role permission on Firmable and the Admin role in Pipedrive. 

Custom field setup

  • Click Contacts
    Contacts
  • Click Organisations
    organisations-1
  • Click Customise columns 
    customise columns
  • Click Custom Field 
    + custom field-1
  • Click Organisation field 
    organisation field-1
  • Fill in a Field name , Field type (Text) and tick Organisation add view field type-1
  • Click customise columns 
    customise columns-1
  • Click the newly created field to select, followed by save to continue. locate newly created custom id and save-1
