Firmable 2-way CRM Sync cautions (Beta access)
Learn about the risks associated with 2-way sync
Prerequisites
Before setting up CRM 2-Way Sync, ensure the following:
- You are on a Teams Pro or Enterprise plan.
- You are an Admin on your Firmable account.
- You have an active HubSpot or Salesforce account.
What is CRM 2-Way Sync?
CRM 2-Way Sync allows Firmable to connect directly to your CRM and automatically pull your company records and people records into Firmable, where they can be enriched with Firmable's data. Enriched records can then be pushed back to your CRM, keeping your data fresh without manual effort.
Things to be aware of before getting started
CRM 2-Way Sync is a powerful feature and there are a few important things to understand before running your first sync at scale.
Record deletion
Firmable will not delete records from your CRM. Sync behaviour is limited to creating and updating records only, so there is no risk of records being removed from your CRM through this integration.
Credit usage
Each record enriched through an automated agent consumes credits. Large record sets syncing on an automated schedule can consume credits quickly. It is strongly recommended to start with manual enrichment to understand credit usage before enabling automated agents, and to begin with a small subset of records rather than your full CRM.
CRM API rate limits
Frequent or large sync jobs may hit your CRM's API rate limits, particularly if other integrations are running against the same APIs at the same time. Admins should be aware of their CRM's API limits before enabling the feature, and should monitor sync activity if multiple integrations are connected to the same CRM.
CRM automations and workflows
Bulk updates from Firmable may trigger existing CRM automations such as email sequences, lead assignment rules, or lifecycle stage changes. Before running a large sync, it is worth reviewing any CRM workflows that fire on field updates and testing with a small batch of records first.
Record matching
Firmable uses automated matching to link CRM records to the correct Firmable record. In some cases a record may be matched incorrectly, which could result in the wrong data being applied. It is recommended to inspect matched records and run manual enrichment first before enabling large-scale or automated syncs.
